My initial consultation went well. I felt I had found a good counselor and could hopefully make some progress dealing with issues. Second appointment was scheduled. Day of the second appointment the office called to confirm I was coming as the front office closed before my appointment time. I confirmed I was indeed coming. Chris Carter he is a great doctor. We’re had a great experience to get our teenage son the help he needs. He’s has been outstanding with all the testing to come to a diagnosis and therapist it’s really help with navigating through the challenges of life and kids who are in desperate need of good mental health treatment. My son had very good talk and very happy with doctor Chris. I would highly recommend.
Dr. DellaNebia (the head therapist) is very nice, but no longer takes new patients (just testing, but not therapy). We've been trying for 7 MONTHS to be seen by one of her staff therapists and it has been a complete frustrating mess... they schedule us, we wait a month to be seen, have an intake. We wait for a month for a 2nd appt, he spends appt #2 telling us how they are letting him go unexpectedly and how frustrated he is (hardly any therapy, just him letting my son play in a toy box while he tells this to me), then the... read more
What happened with those people who posted bad reviews and keep harping on about insurance and getting calls back, did we even go to the same place? I've been going to counseling with Dr. Nebbia for several months now and never had any issues with insurance, and consistently received appointment reminder calls and other needed follow-ups. Furthermore, the receptionists are extremely helpful and courteous. Whatever. Anyway, counseling is a strange journey and unique to each person. All three of my kids see Dr. DellaNebbia for a complicated family situation. She has been a great therapist, resource, and advocate for our family. The staff is always professional and pleasant.
