Im a combat veteran from the neighborhood and I got kicked out because the bartender called my beer “Shitrona” and the owner sided with him. Never going again, not missing the food or anything special. I would not recommend to anybody in my community.
Best bar service I have ever received. Food was also amazing. Definitely a place to go back to.
Great neighborhood bar... friendly bartender and staff. Great food all the games on... walking distance from my Airbnb ... would recommend to anyone.
So friendly and amazing food. Had the whole family and everyone was So nice to us and the kids. We live in Omaha NE and we will definitely be back!!!
We went because we saw on DDD. Had the pig & grits. I’m a grits snob because I’m from the South, imho they could have used more salt! The homemade tater tots were the bomb though!
We went based on watching DDD, and drove down with high expectations. Although the tater tots were good, they weren't great. The staff was nice and friendly, but added a drink to our bill that wasn't ours.. maybe hicks from the sticks don't check their bills! I will say I liked the downtown bar atmosphere, but can only rank this one as good. We went to the bar down the street that had a rooftop patio, which had better atmosphere, and would probably be our go-to if we return to the Highland neighborhood.
Loved the old school ambience and it was my first Tavern Tot Experience...the best!!
My daughter and I had our first and probably last time here. The we ordered the Dr Pepper ribs the sauce was delicious the ribs however could’ve used some seasoning. We also ordered the mac & cheese it was very creamy and could’ve also used some seasonings no flavor. We split the Cuban sandwich it was delicious had the french fries with the green chili and cheese over it that was acceptable. Atmosphere was great people were great.
