Due to record breaking temperatures, our pipes have frozen 3 times due to the weather despite us following all guidelines provided by the complex - cabinets open, faucet dripping, thermostat above 60 degrees (ours is consistently at a minimum of 70-72 if not higher). We have done all we can on our end and yet the pipes still froze and burst. The resident coordinator is attempting to blame us and threatening to charge us for damages caused by the pipe freezing.
