Management is not worth the drama and the apartment is not worth the rent. Bats and rodents. JCMLiving, their management in Lakewood, is rated F by the Better Business Bureau. Management has harassed us since my girlfriend and I moved in last year. They claim we haven't paid the rent after our first month there, even though it shows in their tenant site that it's paid plus in our bank statements. Management harassed my girlfriend since day one. The maintenance crew at Highland Montgomery are by far the best and most responsive.
I lived here for two years and had a great experience. The property manager is fantastic and was responsive to any concerns. The staff is also great, making sure everything was well-maintained and running smoothly. I recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming and well-managed community.
Highland Montgomery Apartments are absolutely amazing. The landscape is beautiful and the area is always well kept. The most valuable part of these apartments is the maintenance team. They are incredible men who are so sweet, thoughtful, and talented. They often arrive within minutes with a smile on their faces ready to help. I can’t thank them enough for being so responsive an incredible during our year here so far! They deserve the world! :)
Lovely area with great access to both Highland Park main street shops and New Brunswick train station (by foot). Safe and nice neighbourhood with two parks for recreation. Quiet, lovely studio flat, washers and dryers in the basement. Lora and the maintenance team are very responsive and very prompt to help with any requests. I have received lots of help from them in my first year of leasing.
