Our floors were pretty bad before refinishing & they do look beautiful now. Lorenzo (the finisher) was prompt, communicative, & professional - he was amazing. The issue that arises is how our staircase was left. After being told at the beginning of the job that a painter would paint the risers, scotia would be installed, drywall repaired, etc., we got tired of feeling like nags. Had someone come out for an estimate on November 5. Said they would send an estimate the next week. I waited until November 20 and emailed and called them and still have no estimate and no idea whether they are ever going to send one. Frustrating to waste my time. Disappointed because the person who came out was the owner and I was really looking forward to working with them.
HHF completed resurfacing and refinishing my hardwood floors this week. The floors look amazing, their craftsmanship is 5-stars. Communcation with the staff frequently felt disconnected with text messages in advance of the project going unanswered frequently. I would rate their communcation at 3-stars; thus the 4-star average. Overall, I would recommend HHF for your next project and will recomend them in the future to my neighbors. My floors look amazing!
Highland did a great job on refinishing my floors. I thought the price was very reasonable. The guys were all nice. And great communication.
I am so glad I went with Highland Hardwood Flooring. My floors look amazing, but what I am really impressed with is the customer service and turnaround time. I called them initially for an estimate on a Monday, and my floors were finished by the next Monday. They were very communicative and kept me updated through the whole process. I was able to understand every expense, and I didn't feel like they tried to upsell me or get me to spend more than I wanted. I would recommend them to everyone.
