Love the scones and love the family who own and run the bakery.
Stopped in yesterday for the first time but it won't be my last! A few weeks ago I was craving a scone and the bakery I usually frequent doesn't sell them, so I looked on Yelp to see if there were any places remotely near me that makes fresh baked ones. I was surprised to find Highland Gourmet. Finally had a chance to visit yesterday. I'm enjoying a lemon blueberry one this morning and it's divine! Can't wait to try more flavors.
These scones are SO yummy! All of the flavors are excellent - it's tough to pick a favorite. The fact they can be shipped is awesome. The gold tin packaging is beautiful and makes for a great gift. Being in Georgia, it's comforting to know these scones are just an order away from being enjoyed in our home!
We love their scones and the friendly service we always receive! Our road trips to the beach include text messages between the cars to make sure someone is stopping to pick up scones. (And we never seem to buy enough!) Even better when we spend the night in the area and can stop by first thing in the morning!
I have NEVER had such positive response from all of my customers! They really loved your scones (and so did our 4 year old daughter)!!!!!
I never would have guessed that the best scone I ever had would be from Birmingham Alabama.
