been going here probably for 15 years and now they don’t want to accept the insurance that I have anymore, which is CIGNA.. Can’t refill any of my medicines because they have to see me and they can do cash pay.. The insurance and doctors are a complete scam
What I fail to understand from this "Medical" practice, is the general attitude of the front desk staff. You ask for a prescription refill, they claim they sent it to your pharmacy, but they didn't. So you call them back and ask them to send it again, to which they say they can't. THEY CAN'T ?? People depend on their medication, the front desk staff here doesn't seem to grasp that at all. I have been a loyal patient of HV Family Medicine for almost 20 years and have always trusted their care—so much so that I referred my 76-year-old father to their practice in 2021. Unfortunately, our recent experience has left us extremely disappointed. HV Family Medicine announced they would be transitioning to a membership-based practice starting May 30th.
