Met the girls at the bar to unwind from the day....James made us the most amazing drinks. He is truly an artist. Sit at the bar, tell him what you like and let him create a concoction for you.
I brought three of my conferences exhibitors to Highland last night. Two were from CA, the other was from CO. The food was wonderful, as always. One of my guests has had dinner there two other times and loved it. Ariel was a wonderful waitress - charming and knowledgeable. James remembered the woman who had been there before and came over from the bar to speak. What an impression those two made! They started a conversation about Southern Hospitality that lasted 30 minutes!!

We LOVE Highland Avenue! Chef Kyle McKnight's food along with Sam Stachion are both AMAZING, the GM Robert Locke and his staff provide EXTREME HOSPITALITY, and the restaurant itself has wonderful elegance and character! It's ALWAYS worth the hour+ drive every time we come!
Excellent meal topped off with a delicious birthday dessert; peach and white chocolate bread pudding with buttermilk ice cream. Shrimp and Grits highly recommended.
