We took our dog, Gypsy to Highland and first were told it (a large mass) was her ACL/CCL and they did a laser treatment (after we asked about x-rays) on her. We took her back a week or two later because the mass was larger and her limp was worse and we asked about x-rays again. They said it was arthritis. Had a great experience with our dog Finn. He was inpatient for 6 days for surgery and they took great care of our boy. He was healthy and back to himself just a day after we brought him home. Thankful for Highland for saving our boys life. It was very affordable and they updated everyday on his condition. Love that they’re open on Saturday’s, and both times we needed to be seen they were able to squeeze us in.
Just put my cat down. I have always known this vet to be good, but I had my cat treated here since Thursday —she had lost a lot of weight at an alarming rate, so my sister and took her in to investigate— and I have never been treated so coldly in my life. Recently we had to take our furry child to Highland Animal Hospital. She had a blood blister/hematoma on her ear. Dr. Iverson and all of the staff there were amazing. They treated our Carolina with such care and kindness. She had never spent a day away from us since we adopted her over 6 years ago. Sadly, this past Thursday, I had to come in with my nearly 17 year old Italian greyhound. Penny. I knew she was old but I had no idea that she had cancer. Her liver and kidneys were shutting down. The staff there was amazing. The comforted me, as much as possible. They explained everything in detail. I ended up having to let my baby go because she was suffering.
