The Mahi Mahi was incredible and the Oysters on the half shell were very tasty.
We had arrived about 4:15pm, we never even paid attention to what time they opened, 4:30pm...a worker was just walking in and let us know the time they opened...within 2 minutes, the hostess was waving us in...now that is service...we had lil' Ms. "Sunshine" Mcduffie...awesomeness all wrapped up with "Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream" lol...Thank You...
Their gumbo needs some seasoning, sweet tea wasn’t that good. their salad had a lot of limp lettuce and some brown areas. The ranch dressing did not taste like ranch. Their Hush puppies were very bland. The shrimp 🍤 and grouper tasted very good. Waitress was very polite and attentive. With some minor changes these all can be fixed.
Vacationed at Okaloosa every year since I was a kid (want to go back like crazy right now), my dad actually used to work here way back when they had a live band. The High Tide was always the highlight of the trip. Great atmosphere, great food, and the freshest oysters you'll get anywhere. I wish hey had an online store so I could get a replacement shirt. Bottom line... BEST SEAFOOD RESTARAUNT EVER!!
Great food, good prices. One of our must visit places.
I will just say it wasn't a good idea to order steak in a seafood restaurant.
