Seafood done right, Maryland style
We’ve been coming to High Tide Harry’s for several years now for family dinners/celebrations and last night was by far our best experience!! Our server/waiter Ryan was the best !!! He went out of his way to ensure we had a great experience, explaining the menu to all (it was my Mother’s first time at the restaurant and our birthday) Ryan even offered to bring our 10 month old a juice; we’ve never had anyone acknowledge our baby as a person. The Sangria was good, the grouper was great as well as the peel and eat shrimp. Had to bring my dessert home because I was so full.
Went there tonight and sat at the bar and was treated like crap by both bartenders Miranda and Chad. I asked Miranda how much a market priced item was and she basically answer back “that’s $100.00” as if we couldn’t afford it. I have been coming there for years, so I’m not sure why we were talked to this way. We were the only black people at the bar, so I’m assuming she thought we were being rude by asking what the market price of an item was. I had a great time with my Maryland style steamed blue crabs. As good as I was getting when I lived In Towson Maryland. My waiter was excellent a young girl had it together.
The food is delicious! I recommend the blackened seafood combo. That fish bowl of beer was just enough!
Probably the best blackened seafood I’ve ever had and the cinnamon butter with hush puppies was fabulous
