We ate outside with friends as the Sun set listening to music and looking out towards Nantasket Beach. Pretty nice. The food selections were easy and uncomplicated. We were there to sample the BBQ, so our choices accomplished a good variety. The solo performer provided nice DJ music and he played guitar and sang Jimmy Buffet style. Very summer.
After a marginal experience during my first visit, I decided to give this restaurant a second chance before leaving a review. Unfortunately, my follow-up visit confirmed that my initial impression was not a one-off. Both visits took place on quiet Saturday evenings between 5:30 and 7:00 p.m., yet the service was among the most inattentive I’ve encountered in many years. Food was exceptionally good! Brisket sandwich had amazing flavor and was perfectly cooked. The blackened chicken salad was loaded with flavor as well. Highly recommend this local establishment!!
