High Rock Outfitters is a fantastic local music venue. Who would ever have thought that Lexington would be so fortunate to have such a place? The atmosphere and ambiance is great. Even at the back of the venue you're still fairly close to the stage. Check out the great selection of beer! We typically try to get there 30 minutes before the show starts and have never had any problems with seating. Parking is usually pretty easy as well. Had a very poor experience. Grew up in Lexington but had never been here. Heard good things and was happy to support a local business. Came in to have a few drinks. They happened to have booked a "comedian" tonight. The comedian wasn't funny. The comedy was very poor so we lost interest quickly and began to talk quietly amongst ourselves. We were told that if we couldn't be quiet we would have to leave. I've never been to a place that was disrespectful to paying customers when their booked talent was insufficient. Cozy, cool environment. Great music. Chris & Brittany knew my name & what I drank the 2nd time I came in.
The venue is small, not a lot of tables but the bar service and band was awesome! No can service in Lexington.
