I had a cheilectomy done almost 2 years ago. about 6-9 months later i was still in pain and i also notice the bunion coming back! I felt like the Dr pushed me into having the cheilectomy instead of the surgery where they actually fix the bone that moves to cause the bunion, his words " I would rather do the cheilectomy so that you don't want to kill me for being in so much pain". If i would have known that at least 20% of the cheilectomies fail and the bunions return, I definitely would have gone the with other surgery that ... read more
