Love, love, love...the bands on the weekends. It's great to have a local place to go out to. The band last night was super fun, and your wait staff, Justin, Michael and Lauren (?) especially, are always fun and friendly!!
Pizza prices are ridiculous. Almost $50 for 2. And you can get better pizza at Little Caesars. IF I go back it will only be for booze.
We went to Grinder's High Noon for the third time tonight, thinking we'd give them another chance to try and dazzle us. They were moderately busy, but we easily found seats at the bar. The bartender was quick to provide us with both a beer menu and a "Special Events" menu. The beer menu was outstanding for Leavenworth, but the food menu was very limited. We were told they were too busy to use the full menu. We ending up leaving after one drink. Pretty disappointed.
Stretch definitely knows how to pick 'em. There is an awesome group of folks workin' in & running this joint now! If there's even a little issue (and you're not an ass about it) they are gonna make it right, hell if you are an ass about it they'll still make it right, but they will not lay down & let you beat on them, and on that end I say great! Decided to try Grinders pizza tonight for the first time. Sorry to say...we just weren't too impressed with it. May be because it was Friday or crowded, I dont know, but, altho it tasted good with our pepperonis, onions, a hamburger, most of it was just cheese. Hardly any toppings. For the $22 dollars spent, and going after it myself, I'll just get my pizza elsewhere....and cheaper. We'll hope for a better experience next time.....sigh!
Food was good. Server was quiet and sweet. Hubs and I found a new spot. Went at lunch time. Will be going back for dinner.
We ate here last night. Our server Robert was fantastic and the good was delicious.
Visited Grinders High Noon for the first time tonight. The food was good, especially the smoked Gouda potato casserole I had with my Philly sandwich. It was so good! My husband had the Hillbilly burger and fries and liked it. Service was good tonight. I say good only because it just opened and within time it will be even better! My drink was refilled before my glass even had the chance to become empty.
