In 1986, High Mountain Expeditions began taking families and adventure seekers alike to some of the most spectacular places in the U.S. Our early efforts helped create a whitewater rafting industry that now shares the beautiful outdoors of the North Carolina Mountains and Tennessee Wilderness with thousands of guests every summer.

Hands down this place offers the best river tubing experience around
Super fun float! Very casual and easy place to put in and get out. It’s a shorter run on the river but You can float as many times as you like. It’s only a 5 min ride back to the parking lot where they have bathrooms and snacks and supplies. We booked online day of and it was so easy to sign the waivers before we headed up so when we showed up we were in the water in less than 10 min. We will go back next time we want to float for sure!
We had a great time! Beautiful water and mountain views. We appreciated having help and guidance getting on and off the river, so if you have little ones or adults who may need assistance or this is their first time tubing, this is definitely a great location! Really friendly staff.
