high focus is not effective. it’s a low level outpatient program; a less effective counterpart to other outpatient programs. i do not recommended this to anybody because the group sessions end up becoming friends hanging out more than therapy. they don’t treat the root of your problem they just focus on current situations rather than focusing on past trauma. the rules are ridiculous, and all the restrictions that they have for “safety reasons” is ridiculous. they were not successful in helping me with my issues. high focus d... read more
high focus is genuinely terrible. i do not recommended this to anybody. the staff will constantly accuse you of doing drugs, even when you are completely sober. the rules are ridiculous and they genuinely treat their clients like criminals.
I had a very positive experience at High Focus Centers in Parsipanny NJ. My clinician was very nice and very professional. He helped to get me through a very difficult time. The other clinicians and the rest of the staff were very helpful as well. I was able to relate to the other clients as well. Which reassured me that I was not alone.
