I am very appreciative and will for always be indebted to high focus for the services they provided my daughter. She went there for acute/severe depression along with chronic anxiety. She had a very positive experience despite the fact she did not think it would help her when she started.
A very effective therapeutic place for all ages. Staff were very supportive and it was a very healthy environment for my child.
My son has been in the PHP program for a month now and I can’t say enough good things. Even though he came home the first day with all the reasons it was a waste and why he didn’t ever want group therapy, the group therapy has proven to be the best thing since he’s with peers in which he can relate. Even he will admit now how the program has helped. Such a blessing. Hang in there. It does get better.
I was at High Focus Lawrenceville for nearly three months. In that time I learned coping skills for my trauma responses, I learned to cope with grief even while still hanging on, and I met amazing people. There is a team of clinicians I will never forget for as long as I live. Utilizing group therapy to the best of my ability was the best thing I could have done for my life. It's hard work and it was worth it.
Our 14 year old son was having some issues-stress, anxiety and low self esteem and also entertained some thoughts of self harm. It became clear this was beyond our expertise. We were referred to High Focus in Lawrenceville by our pediatrician. Our son did the five days a week for five hours a day then the three days a week for three hours.
