Met some coworkers here. Nice place, friendly staff. I love that hey have a straight up old school VHS player with VHS movies playing over the bar. Last night it was Hook, Stripes and Cocktail (I think).
Solid Tiki Drinks for a local place. They will even make you a classic Zombie which isn’t on the menu. Mai Tai is well above avg. Trip number 2 and great experience. Jordan was a bunch of fun and Tom came in as the closer and made me a top notch zombie. Central PA is lucky to have access to people that are actually into real tiki.
We got the Cacio e Peppe Fries with pecorino and truffle salt, we're still not over them. The Double High Smash Burger and a Blue Hawaii. This Midtown's most fun bar-food stop. Dive bar looks, chef-level snacks.
High Dive is the best bar in Midtown, hands down. Coming here makes you feel as if you’re stepping out of Harrisburg and into a big-city bar. The interior decor and theme make it much more of an experience, than just a normal night grabbing drinks. Drinks, of course, are incredible! They’re so flavorful and super strong. One espresso martini here and I’m outside for the rest of the evening. The only thing I was a bit disappointed by was the fried tofu. What a fun oasis located in the heart of Harrisburg. The moment we walked in, we felt the great vibe of the place. The architecture is really cool and the decor is fabulous. Whomever designed the interior has a knack for creating a mood. Cara, the hostess, was really friendly and she gave us our choice of upstairs or downstairs.
