We are open 7 days a week to care for your pet, whether it is for urgent care or a routine appointment. Dr. Oddo has extensive experience with cruciate ligament repairs and orthopedic surgeries.

After 35 years of being a vet-- his knowledge and big heart are unbelievable and it's impossible to not see. We feel very lucky to have Dr. Oddo keeping an eye on our animals. Truly, he's wonderful. You never get this "I'm gonna take all the money in your wallet when you leave here" type of care. He's very thoughtful of all his patients and all the options for them. His staff is no less! They're just so sweet and patient. Just a great relaxed place. I would recommend to anyone.
Our dog was showing some alarming symptoms today and High Desert was the only vet clinic out of the 7 clinics that I called that were willing to see him on an urgent, and fairly immediate basis. Dr. Barkhurst and her staff were very thorough with my pup and kind to the very worried pet mother that I am.
We had our last Veterinary Doctor in California for 20 years and were just sure we would never find one as good when we relocated to Bend. But after an exhaustive search we were fortunate and extremely Blessed to find High Desert Veterinary with Dr. Tony Oddo, Dr. Jeannette Barkhurst and Dr. John Carr along with their exemplary staff members....This office has far exceeded any expectation we ever had about obtaining a new Clinic...I cannot say enough about the kindness....care, compassion, dedication, conscientious care we r... read more
