We used high country doulas very last minute. We hired them at 38 weeks of pregnancy and we are so glad we did. Shivonne and Allison did everything they could to understand us and inform us of everything we needed with the time frame they were given and they went above and beyond to help my wife and I achieve the birth we wanted. It was very obvious that they are passionate about what they do, fully apply themselves to your experience, empathize with you 100%. I would HIGHLY recommend high country doulas.
I’m so thankful we used High Country Doulas after my second baby was born. We arranged a few home visits and I was really glad I did. It was so supportive and informative for taking the best care of me and my baby. Allison supported our family in any way we needed during her visits. Allison and Lis were the perfect team to support me during my VBAC. Choosing a VBAC at a non-supportive hospital required a lot of emotional support and encouragement, and Allison and Lis gave me that and so much more. They helped me create a plan of action for birth and troubleshoot potential setbacks or problems that could arise during labor.
