I went there for a check up on my medicine and blood work, and the doctor in training was excellent but the doctor she was working under not only called in my prescription for insulin without any needles even though I called them and reminded them, But then when they got my blood work back, nobody contacted me so I called and And of course nobody called me back so I had to call again and then the lady that’s telling me about my terrible blood work is so rude. Im a current patient at High Country Community and have experienced ongoing medical neglect and gaslighting by Jessica Null, my assigned primary care doctor. I have PCOS and bleed so heavily that it causes iron deficiency, which severely affects my ability to function day to day. In May, I had my iron tested due to worsening symptoms. When my results came in, Jessica told me my levels were normal and that I needed to continue iron pills because insurance would not cover an infusion. They're quick and efficient and my Dr.'s nurse is friendly. The only complaint I have is that my anxiety and PTSD issues aren't being addressed, or taken seriously. When I asked that a prescription that I had been prescribed for EIGHT YEARS (prior to moving to Boone)be prescribed, my Dr told me that I was,"preaching to the choir," thinking that I was only trying to GET HIGH!
