I needed a second opinion on my foundation issue so I had Blake come out and take a look. He took the time to look over my situation and gave me his recommendation as well as suggesting that I call an engineering company to confirm. Blake deserves no stars, but that is not an option. Blake gained our trust by completing a roofing and foundation job. So, we felt comfortable hiring him for additional work. We hired and paid him 8k to paint our entire house (1784sq ft), deck and some flooring work. (5/9/2024) His crew was extremely sloppy and got paint everywhere. Missed an entire wall, didn't finish our laundry room, and the deck looks the same, if not worse than when they started. Horrible painting work and never completed a job we paid for 2 months ago. Blake is rude, condescending, has horrible communication skills and is unprofessional. He also goes back on what he tells you is included in the amount paid. He has made it very difficult to work with him, so we requested a small refund so we could have someone else complete the job. I reached out to High Bar after two other companies chose not to call me back. Blake was quick to come out and address my roof damage claim that State Farm denied. Blake knew what to do and how to fight the denial. He kept me in the loop throughout the whole process. After a few months of fighting the claim, State Farm finally accepted responsibility. Blake and his crew did a fantastic job on the new roof and gutters. I highly recommend High Bar Roofing due to their professionalism, expertise, and quality of work.
