Went there probably 5 or 6 years ago and had the best crabs, went there today and I am absolutely disappointed. The crabs were soggy and reeked of ammonia. I would have rather have had McDonalds than wasted money at this so called crab house. I would not recommend to anyone.

My sister and I went there for supper last night and was worst everything I have encountered in a long time. Not busy, no one to seat us, then waiter didn't know/understand English, hard time communicating with him. My steamed shrimp were over done, rubbery, and cold....French fries are from a bag. C'mon guys, it's easy and cheaper to make homemade and taste 100 times better. Great crabs, rockfish. Lauren was excellent as our waitress.
Ate there with my gf 8/30 and we had a great time! Our server, Chad was very friendly and taught us the right way to eat crabs! Overall we had s very nice experience!
We drove to OC from Florida for our vacation but before we left we made our reservation for Higgins as we enjoyed it so much last year. We were not disappointed. The crab soup was very good and the crabs were the best! A good size and so tasty. Plenty of Maryland corn too. The service was excellent. Too bad we don't live closer. The Amernick Family
Great place to eat. Should be able to take your last plate home when u order all u can eat. Hate to see it go to waste.
