Not baby friendly. The place doesn’t have a changing table. I asked the Manager how come? and his answer was: well this place was built a long time ago and they didn’t have changing tables back then.
Over cooked crabs and crab legs!! Way way overpriced for what you get! Servers however were excellent!!
It’s always been a tradition to go to Higgins on our vacation to OC, unfortunately after last night it will be our last time. Our server was great but the food was terrible. Mushy crabs. Mushy shrimp. Crabs were cracked, smelled like ammonia, gray insides....for the prices we certainly expected better food. Higgins used to have great crabs and it’s just gone totally downhill.
Went there to have crabs and the service was so bad. I was the only table my waitress had and she sat at the bar and rolled silverware. I had to wait forever for my refill of crabs and my soda. I will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!! The crabs we're very small and honestly I don't even see how some were legal!! My recommendation is DON'T GO THERE TO EAT!!!

Family of 4. Overcharged, poor service, crabs were ‘mooshy’ light, and smelled of ammonia. Terrible experience, we have been there the past 3 years in a row and it was fine. Downhill, slim shady, poorly managed. Vote with your wallet and don’t go.
I thought it was fantastic. Food was great. Service was better. But. The beer menu was lacking.

Seriously.. my garden salad was lettuce nothing else.. baked potato cold.. fish not cooked..no wonder we got seated right away . I never complain about food anywhere... damnit. Should have went to Fagers island like I wanted to.... Mike
