I enjoy stealing away onto this farm and into the woods for some serenity, a break from the buzz of the bay, and it isn't far from where I live, but it feels like another world! I stayed at the Hostel. I heard the sheep bay at night, and the children cheering in the morning! I am so happy to see children have access to this kind of real world learning. Absolutely nothing can be more important than learning how to care for the plants and animals of the world : )

Five piglets desperately need your help. PLEASE READ ENTIRE MESSAGE TO SEE IF YOU WISH TO HELP. Hidden Villa loaned five baby piglets to Deer Hollow Farm, Mountain View, CA, for the summer. The little piglets became socialized meeting new people and children on the safe grounds of Deer Hollow. Such a fantastic multilevel educational working farm! I always leave with a peaceful soul, no matter how I felt when I got there. Hidden Villa is cared for by a truly positive staff that believes in Hidden Villa's original values imparted by the generosity of the Duvenecks. I love being there so much that I became a volunteer!
Accommodations weren't the best but my kids definitely loved the farm
