Cool place, nice people, caring owners. Rough road to get there, but, it's worth it!
We just spent longer here than we originally anticipated with our truck's transmission needing work. We have been full time living in RV parks across the whole country from August until November (now) and this by far has been the most caring community we have come across! Lots to do with the petroglyphs nearby, ATV riding, gorgeous night skies, owner has some cows and horses to look at. There was a library where you can exchange books & some movies to watch. I loved it all except for the road there. Clean, beautiful nice folks. Went to City of Rocks from there, a must see.
We really enjoy our time at HVR. Friendly, Quiet, and all the off roading you could possibly want.
a unique RV park, we loved the solitude especially the hikes around park are great. We tried the mountai behind the park and loved it. People all around friendly yet let you have your space. We went for a night and extended one more night.
We live here and it is the most peaceful wonderful place,to hang your hat and kick off you boots. Or go for a ride on,a horse or Atv
The park is in a quiet, beautiful setting. The park was clean and well maintained. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The only downside was the entrance road to the park. We will definitely camp there again.
