Flashback BAND had a great time playing for the Hidden Valley Fruit Farm this past weekend. The owner and employees were very kind to us and have invited us back October 1. Thank you to all the customers who stopped by the stage with their song request and danced to the music all afternoon. I've not been to the farm, but bought my first Melrose apples at the Southern Ohio Indoor Music Festival today. Eating one now & wow! There were a lot of raves from other concert goers. And talk about GIANT caramel apples. I think a trip to the farm is in order.
Overpriced!! Took kids for hayride and pumpkin picking and you didn't even get to pick the pumpkins. They had ordered some in due to a bad crop and they were tiny. We went in a big circle on the hayride and it was over. Kids were mad that the pumpkins we saw out front huge but we got little ones!!
The farm itself is pretty cool and the means for a good experience are there but it lacks a lot. Customer service is nothing to brag about. You need to practically take a second mortgage to experience everything there. The pumpkin patch is a pre-picked mowed down joke. People want to take a hay ride to cut and pick their own pumpkin, not the pre assorted ones you allot me to have according to whatever ticket I buy. I miss Schappacher farm.
