This is a little piece of heaven. Like grandmas house. The rooms are clean, Jim is fantastic. Hidden gem in a tourist area.
I would advise NOT staying here. We just stayed at Hidden Valley (7/6-7/8) and were not impressed. This is an old school, drive up to your room door place -which we knew when we booked. Unfortunately, there are several areas where birds are nesting on the covered porch area which means you have to tiptoe thru bird poop to get in and out your room door. It an older motel. My favorite. They have a couple old cars under cover next to room 1. They're super nice and great to chat with. I'll be back for sure. Prices are great. Holloway corner kitchen is a great breakfast spot, and is a few himdred feet away. They have great coffee in pots, and can make the fancy stuff.
We stayed at the Hidden Valley Motel for one night. Making the reservation couldn't have been easier and the communication in advance of our trip was great! Situated between Grandfather Mountain & Boone, the location was perfect! Our room was clean and our host Jim was helpful & accommodating. It felt like we were staying in grandma's guest room. I'd stay here again.
