We have been working with Leah Brines and cannot say enough positive things about our experience with her. She is not only knowledgeable but also kind and compassionate. She always makes us feel like she has time for us and our questions and we are so grateful to have had her through this process with our son.
The worst experience yet. The nurse returning my call late in the day was extremely rude and apparently has her own issues. Couldn’t be bothered to be helpful. The doctor is apparently also extremely busy and wants to rattle off a prescription to you without reading your message. Very impersonal.
Eating disorder team is completely inadequate. They don't even have therapists that have eating disorder training but are listed as eating disorder therapists. Therapists not trained in ED should not be practicing outside of their scope. Also, getting outpatient therapy is nearly impossible with Carrie Howard. I had to see EVERY SINGLE eating disorder therapist in order to be referred out. They told me i was out of referrals until I demanded I receive proper mental health support.
