My husband and I moved from Lansing, NY to Rochester, NY using Hick's on May 24, 2013. We packed our own stuff, but had them transporting it. I'd never felt like tipping a moving company before. By the time they were done, not only did we feel the 7-person crew (including the owner) deserved a tip, but we added to what we'd been thinking. Of over 150 boxes, multiple desks, and a variety of odds and ends, only a set of small tables got slightly marred in any way. Outstanding service, they moved some antique furniture from Cortland NY to Atlanta, GA. No issues, very professional, courteous and understanding as my wife's father had just passed away. Everything got to us with no issues. I would recommend this company to anyone who asked! GREAT JOB!

Hicks Moving and Storage has moved us twice in the last five years -- most recently, just a five-mile move. They're the best: careful, courteous, efficient, on time, and on budget. They're a terrific group to work with, professional in every respect.

Efficient, friendly, considerate, capable all characteristics of Hicks Moving and Storage owner and staff. Even with snow on the ground they were able to move our belongings without tracking in the house. I would highly recommend them!!!

I was very impressed with the work that Hick's did when moving my piano. The six men that Hick's sent were very professional, thorough, and careful when moving the piano. They made sure to check the moving route to make sure they would not do any damage to my lawn, hardwood floors, and tile floors. In fact, they took a more difficult route getting the piano in the house in order to avoid having to move the piano over my ceramic tile floor. If you want a personalized move with attention to detail, this business is your best bet. We have used their services three times (including moving my elderly mom), and each time the crew was professional, polite, competent, careful, and efficient. They are excellent with specialty items (we moved a piano). Hick's is absolutely the best moving company in the area.

these guys don't mess around get in get the job done n get out, hicks is best I've had n I hired a lot of movers in my day, crew was clean courteous, and extra careful highly trusted and referred to anyone in US who needs moving of any kind
