Hickory gave me a second chance at life. Going to classes everyday, all day keeps your mind busy. Staff is the greatest ever, one on one counselors and therapist. Gym time, movie nights all on the unit. Walks around the property. Heather, Mindy, Tara, Kevin, Christy, Nate, Philip and Liz to name a few are the greatest. My husband went to this place and I thought it was a great place until after a month of him being home he goes and picks up a girl from Longview that he was in rehab with and brought her back to our home. Needless to say me and him are no longer together so if you have a husband or a wife, don’t send them to this place because they obviously don’t care if men and women mingle with each other other
Hickory Treatment was a great facility for recovery! Everyone there was beyond amazing!
The people that were there were great but I don’t think they have enough resources. I was there for 5 days and every night my room was 78-80”. Every night I went to bed sweating and hungry. The meals they give you is bare minimum, every meal I left still hungry. The nurse gave me the wrong medicine and it did not go well with my other meds and had me sleeping the whole next day.
