Great food We like Hickory Tavern because the food is great! Their raw oysters are very fresh and desserts are wonderful. It's not a place we go to often. The prices are a little high. But for special events it's the first place we think of.

Hickory Tavern Grill & Raw Bar Love this place. The food is great, it is a little on the high side but I think the food was worth it. This is a good place to go with your family for dinner or go out at night and hang out with your friends.

Hickory Tavern Hickory Tavern offers a variety of food and drinks. The food is somewhat expensive, and the bar is frequently smoky. A large number of televisions are on various channels.

Great place to watch a game Wide variety of food on the menu. Reasonable price's. Great place to watch any sports game on tv. Even though the bar is smokey they have non-smoking seating available.

Owner Mike McIntosh is a pervert, if you’re a waitress and don’t want to have sexual relationships with him you are fired. Be ware of being promised positions and growing in the company then never getting what is promised to you. Worked there 11 years, I’ve seen all kinds of horrible things happen to employees who did a great job but were fired for no reason, more so because they weren’t interested in sexual relationships with the owner. This is the place to be if you want everyone in Hickory to know your business. Don’t worry if they don’t know anything they will make it up as they go. There girls have even went as far as to sneak around the corner take pictures then try to cause a customers problems. The same customer who is a good tipper and they must depend on for a source of income. Disappointing carry-out order – We picked up a carry-out order of salad and chicken tenders at the Tavern in Hickory on 12/16/09. --Price--$25 for two orders!! Just two tiny salads and five tenders each was that much! Salad was unsatisfactory--poor quality lettuce, very small servings, etc. Also, got the wrong sauce for the chicken tenders. Croissants were hard. It wasn't worth our time or money to go and pick up this over priced meal. Called to complain--they will replace our salads. What about our inconvenience?
