I had a very disappointing experience with the manager, Artnetta at Hickory Tavern. She refused to accept my Arizona ID, which is understandable because it is an uncommon ID to have. However, what made the situation frustrating was that she further antagonized me during and after the meal. I left feeling angry and embarrassed by the situation. Good customer service starts with management, and I hope the restaurant addresses how customers are treated in situations like this.
We’ve given this place 2 tries. First time the service was awful and food was cold and not good. Second time service was just ok. Food was bland. Everyone’s chicken tasted like it was leftover and reheated. Nachos were drenched in toppings with just a few chips. The one salad we had was good and fresh. That was the only plus. The happy hour considering the area is abysmal. We will not return.
Food was great ! Will most definitely be back!
