My husband and I enjoy launching our boat at Hickory Star. The bathrooms are clean and the restaurant offers excellent service. They always have a good band in the summer.
Never experienced worse customer service! inquired about renting a pontoon, in the process of simply asking for details have never been treated more rudely. The employee laughed when I mentioned the prices on the website and asking farther details to prepare for our day on the water then employee became irate. This obviously ended up in them losing us as customers. I thankfully found another marina on Cherokee lake to rent from and they have provided a great customer experience so far. We just spent 3 days and nights at Hickory Star Marina, it was great, employees were very helpful, friendly, and very respectful. I highly recommend it
4th of July 2020 was amazing!! the firework show was phenomenal!!! great show! the food on the dock was delicious! The servers was very busy and they hustled to make everyone on the dock happy and kept our drinks flowing. Great group of Ladies! Second time we saw the Project Band and they are always a crowd pleaser. The weather was perfect. It was a perfect weekend. We are leaving today and already making plans to come back. Our home away from home!!
They allow abusers, alcoholics and other activities.
Was promised a rain check when a boat I rented broke down and now no one returns my calls. Word is word and they obviously don’t go by it.

Great atmosphere we stay at the motel once or twice a year and we never want to leave lol we gave several friends very close friends that have campers at the camp ground my wife and I bought a older camper and will be done restoring in in 2 or 3 weeks and we are hoping there’s a spot open for us. great place to camp or to rent a cabin. beautiful views beautiful people working there. in the summer it is popping and they serve good bar foods from Arjays restaurant.
