it was my first time at hickory river and all the folks that told me to try were not wrong. Brisket was great and the spicy mixed sauce had really good flavor. I chose green beans and cole slaw the vinager type I will add and I really enjoyed them both. I think the girl setting up trays and taking your order could be a little more nice and a little less move em down the line. The cashier was really sweet and saved it when we cashed out. Our youth group has stopped at Hickory River Smokehouse twice on our return trip from Tennessee. Each time the food has been out-of-this-world delicious. It's always fresh and tasty. The restaurant has a great atmosphere to it and the staff are always happy to assist you.
