Nice location and nice staff. No pool. Would stay here again.
I have come to this park to her three times, it is very peaceful clean staff are great people. You also have some great views of the air quote and bring your boat launch it right here.
We stayed at Hickory Point this past weekend. It was nice, not amazing but we'd go back for a quick weekend. For $68/night, I expected cleaner and more current bathroom facilities. We stayed on site 202. Much to our surprise, we were not informed the hookups were for RVs, not travel trailers so had to go purchase longer hoses. That bit of communication would've been helpful. Our neighbor's (who is a permanent resident) yard looked like a junk yard. The small park is nice. As I said, it was okay but not amazing.
I couldn't have picked a better spot to first time RV in. Hickory Point RV Park is that oasis in a spot where it's least expected. The surroundings and the peace and quiet are amazing. Less than 3 miles from there the whole landscape changes to find all of your needs of restaurants and shopping. The staff and the owners are awesome. Visit them...see for yourself. Highly Recommend.
Was looking into camping here but boy are they pricey!
Great park! Convenient to everything! Only suggestion is new washers and dryers maybe adding a couple more.
Hidden gem. Spent 3 nights on a waterfront site. Loved it. Beautiful sunsets. Quiet and clean. Will go back
Just imagine, a beautifully appointed RV park less than 20 minutes from home. We came for a weekend away. It is so relaxing, beautiful waterfront views, spent each morning watching boats leave and each evening watching them return. Perfect bucolic setting, staff is very helpful, we will be back.
