A country retreat at the foothills of the Appalachian mountains 9 miles west of Gettysburg, PA. Offering quiet cottages and rooms with whirlpool baths. Full breakfast except on Sunday, when a basket breakfast is taken to your room. Dinner is featured in a beautiful restored barn. Serving visitors since 1977. Two night minimum required on weekends.

The food and service is excellent

Overall dining experience was nice. The food quality was a 3. Chicken was dry and there was several small pieces of shell in crab imperial. The rest of the food (vegetables) was good. Very friendly staff and great service.

I’m a frequent customer and the consistent high quality of the food, served family style and all you can eat is a recipe for happy customers. The atmosphere is amazing, the wait staff are personable and professional and ownership is friendly and proud of their business. I love it and it is one of my favorite places on earth. Strongly and wholeheartedly endorse this great place.
