Their sushi can't be beat! Hichizuki has great food for the price. Their sashimi is out of this world and their teriyaki chicken is to die for. Their rice is steamed to perfection and the chef definitely knows how to make a mean miso soup. It's a great place to go if you're on a date or you want some time alone with your significant other. PROS: Great food, fun atmosphere CONS: Prices are a bit high.

Great for the price The Katsu (also known as Hibachi) is a lot of fun and very good food. If you are looking for a fun and memorable experience you defiantly need to try. Great fried rice and they will cook it how ever you want it. I would recommend to anyone. Not as good as benihana's but very good for east North County (also not as expensive as benihana's)

Great Food! If you're looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion the cooking tables are perfect for a big group. Much like Benihanna but not as expensive and the food is superb! The chef puts on a good show and they make the best fried rice around. The steaks are cooked exactly the way you want them and are perfect every time. My favorite Japanese restaurant. PROS: Always a place at the cooking tables and never a wait CONS: The help is sometimes slow and not as friendly as they should be.

AWFUL, NEVER GOING BACK Horrible! Mushy sashimi and on a hot day, kind of too warm in the place to really feel comfortable eating it. Long wait (only 2 other people in the restaraunt) - my husband was done with his soup, salad, tempura platter, cal roll before I even got my soggy sashimi. Gloomy service person - HORRIBLE! She made me feel like she had a death in the family...absolutle awful - NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN!!

I love Japanese food because they are oily and very healthy as well, you can never go wrong here because they have that combination locked down with everything that they have here.
