Dave is amazing! He is very kind and extremely knowledgeable! He could’ve easily charged me way more for my engine block and was trying to help me. We drove from Denver, CO to have Dave work on our block. He also gave us tons of knowledge about building my engine correctly. I would highly recommend him! AAMAZING person and GREAT WORK!!!
Dave and his wife Marlene are excellent people. Dave does the work right the first time. I purchased a 350 small block Chevy performance short block from him and it runs great, I build Chevy big block and small block engines and do a lot more business with him and wouldn't take it anywhere else.

Chose Hi-Purr due to its location and positive reviews. Single-person shop but top-notch skill. Went to Hi-Purr to have big block Chrysler V8 stroker engine bored, cam bearings installed, pistons pressed to rods, balancing, and ensure 'flatness' of block & head surfaces. Everything went great, prices were fair, and job done right.
Dave is the best had him rebuild a short block and everything was done perfect I will definitely take any machine work I need back to hi-purr thanks Dave
