I was on the hunt for a new apartment and found the Penn Arts building. Immediately fell in love with the photos and virtual tour and wanted to schedule an appointment to make sure it wasn’t too good to be true. Horrible bait and switch cons. Do not follow fair housing guidelines, cherry picking non compassionate group I have ever delt with, this coming from one that served the housing industry and efforts here in Indianapolis for close to 20 years. Don't waste your time if your the least bit marginal and in this day and times who takes a $100 hold deposit and keeps it if they turn your application down. Very disappointed! Ken Sloan 07/2021
heat comes on often in the summer. 100ft dead tree on property with falling limbs. incompetent management that is impossible to get ahold of.
H-I are slumlords, pure and simple. I live at one of the Reverie Estates properties, one of nine located around the city. Everyone I've talked to has had a horrible experience. Management has changed three times in the last 6 months and has gotten worse each time. It's impossible to get ahold of anyone. Maintenance doesn't promptly respond to calls (probably because they've only hired a couple of people for NINE buildings). There is no emergency maintenance line.
