I first saw Nissa for festival braids and was immediately impressed by her skill and creativity. The braids were beautifully done and held up perfectly, even through long days and dancing. More recently, I booked a cut and color with her—and even after just one session, I knew I’d be coming back. Socks is an amazing hair dresser. I had the best experience getting my hair cut for a wedding. They were able to give amazing recommendations and really knew exactly what to do with my hair. (which I did not) I highly recommend getting your hair cut with Socks.
I went to Nissa with an incredibly challenging task — I had a lot of grow out but my mids/ ends had previously been bleached & then colored copper — There was a pretty significant line of demarcation and the whole canvas was kind of a muddy mess. I knew it would not be easy/maybe not even possible to bring it all to a cohesive blonde in one session, but Nissa absolutely killed it!!! Bri did a great job cutting my curls! The cut was super well done, and they took the time to listen to my concerns and wants. They gave me good tips and tricks to take care of my hair that weren't too overwhelming or time consuming. This was the first haircut I think I've ever had that I walked away *liking*. The salon itself is cute and cozy, and Bri is a very pleasant person with excellent skills. Would recommend!
I went here for my birthday and I absolutely loved the people there! Especially Nissa! I have curly hair and she knew exactly how to help me with it. 10/10 love the aesthetic of the place too.
