My 6 month old kitten had blood in his stool and was vomiting blood. He had obviously eaten something either poisonous or sharp and couldn't keep food down. I was able to report his progress to Dr Hessman as Curry was active and still willing to eat. Doc prescribed a few meds and Curry is on the mend! I really appreciate the care he takes with Curry and ME because when my pets are sick I'm a little panicky and I appreciate the patience and kindness he shows.

Dr. Hessman is the absolute best! We called him for our boxer when we moved back to Springfield. My sister has used him for her pets for years and gave him glowing reviews, so she recommended him. I could not be happier! My boxer met him when she was 6 and she’s never responded to a vet as well as she did to him. Now we’ve picked up a stray cat and he will seeing Dr. Hessman as well!

This man is a blessing ! My dog loves him to pieces !! She KNOWS when he is in the drive and the tail starts wagging! He is amazing!!
We started using Dr. Hessman, for our dog Myrtle, shortly after moving to Springfield. The cost was cheaper than taking her to the vet, but his compassion and care was priceless. He provided our dog some quality weeks of less pain and health, and sadly, when it was time to let her go, we felt so at ease letting her go in peace in our home surrounded by those who loved her the most. I can not recommend Dr. Hessman enough!
