Dr. Zakaria answered all of my questions clearly. It did take awhile for me to get an appointment with him, as it seems that he is usually very booked up.
How could I have anything but the highest praise for Dr. Zakaria and his magnificent neurological team at the Davies Campus of CPMC. My wife Edna arrived at Davies from our home in Napa on Life Support with a grade 5 aneurism . The Zakaria team went immediately to surgery and were able to stop the bleeding using platinum coils and non- intrusive entry. Dr. Zakaria is incredibly thorough and compassionate. I'm very grateful to be with the CPMC Neurosurgery team.
Dr. Zakaria was great during our consultation. He listened carefully to all of my concerns about nerve and chronic pain, and he came across as very genuine and compassionate. He also apologized sincerely for the delay in us meeting, which I appreciated. However, it’s been about two weeks since our appointment, and I haven’t heard back from him or his team about next steps for scheduling surgery. Dr. Zecharia took all the time necessary to discuss my pending surgery, to listen to my concerns, and to explain the medical procedure in an understandable way for me. I felt there was a true concern for me as an individual. I appreciate Dr. Zecharia's approach to me as a patient and a person.
