RecommendedHerzing University is an amazing school. In the beginning of my journey, I was a bit nervous and wanted to quit many times, but sticking through it has taught me discipline for as sitting and focusing on my assignments, reaching out for help through my academic coach and most of all,has given me the ability to push forward in my new career as a Medical Coder Billing Specialist. I got an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies from here and was told that degrees would help with employment. In fact, there’s zero evidence that it has helped my situation. The education was great here, but employers want experience over a college graduate. My degree has meant nothing in this particular job market. It’s all about who you know, not what skills you bring to the table. I’m going to be switching careers again after wasting money on this institution.

I absolutely love this school! Being a single mom and juggling working full time, school, and kids sometimes gets tough, my professors did not let me get lost in my everyday life! They reached out and showed plenty of support which really touched my ❤️! They pushed and motivated me to keep going! The advisors were also pretty incredible with helping anyway possible! Herzing University has been an awesome experience for me. in my pursuit for a Master's in Family Nurse Practitioner. I love the availability of the staff and the flexibility with a busy work schedule, family, and extracurricular activities. I've graduated from a traditional University in the past. Herzing University New Orleans graduation has been the best experience of my life. I will forever remember the experience.
Thanks to Herzing’s online FNP program, it was very flexible for this single mom to complete her life long dream to be a nurse practitioner. Last night I walked across the stage with my classmates from all over the state and one from California, with our Masters in Nursing, concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner. And I was so thankful to hug Dr. Penick’s neck on the way off the stage. It might have been the first time we all met in person but it was a great experience.
I am so happy that I got the chance to accomplish so much in such a short amount of time. As a Fletcher Technical Community College Alumn, I was able to transfer most of my Associates credits over to count towards my Bachelors. Not only that, but I took ALL of my classes online and took some at Fletcher as well. This helped reduce my tuition price and give me flexibility to still work full time. Now, I will have my Bachelors in Business Management and strong connections in my career.
