This is theft. My contract said ~$500 a week, yet Hertz took $1,200+ from my account multiple times. When I asked why, they told me to ‘ask Tesla.’ Pathetic excuse. I paid Hertz, not Tesla. Never again
I came to this Hertz location to rent a car, and they told me I had an unpaid balance. I called customer service, and the representative spoke to me in a mocking and disrespectful tone. After a detailed check, it turned out I had no balance at all. On top of that, their payment system is completely inconsistent and unfair. Normally, the maximum weekly deduction should be around $560, yet between February and August I was charged wildly different amounts — sometimes over $1,100 and even $1,400 in a single week.
