Do not rent from Hertz. I booked a car two days in advance, specifically an EV. I went to pick up the vehicle, I was told that they had no EVs available, even though there were 2 in the parking lot and 2 in the garage in for maintenance. I was given a gas SUV which means I had to pay double to refuel it. I know booking a car isn’t a guarantee but why they bother with the “or equivalent” language on their website is a mystery to me because a gas powered SUV is the exact opposite of an electric car. All employees are rude and no professional manners. They tell you they are out of cars when they have them even Uber saves the car and confirms the inventory.
Great place to rent a car. George, the manager, great guy.
Worst customer service ever! You can never get a hold of anyone on the phone. They told me that I had to pay $637 out of pocket but could not explain to me what the charge was for .. what a nightmare! They were supposed to call me back after getting more details about the bill but I never received a call back for 2 days. I had to take time out of my busy schedule to go into the office to get this issue settled. Never using Hertz again
