AVOID THIS SCAM!!!! This place is no longer in business. A family member called “Hertz” to reserve a vehicle. They happened to be the only place in the area that had a vehicle available for the date needed. They directed the family member to purchase a prepaid card to reserve the vehicle. Long story short…the family member was scammed out of nearly $400. They attempted to visit the location in person and the business was shut down. They were informed by the Columbia location that the Sumter location was shuttered. Save yours... read more

I've literally been on the phone 3 times in 3 days trying to book a vehicle. I've been put on hold until the phone hangs up! I've emailed over and over about my a business account and no response. I've called the location I had the vehicle booked only to find out it doesn't exist anymore🤔 even though it was booked there. Then I called the Florence location for specifics about a business account. 27 minutes on hold. I mean really, like really does the business even exist anymore
