My reservation was supposed to start at 4:30 PM with a "pay at counter" option. Instead, at 8 AM this morning I got a notification from my credit card company that Hertz had already charged me for the rental, and my portal showed the reservation as active. I suspect someone may have picked up a car and Hertz mistakenly activated my reservation against my account. I tried calling twice and was hung up on immediately both times, and there's no other way to reach the local office for clarification. This feels almost like fraud.... read more
i have made a reservation. they didn't honor it, didn't connect me with a manager, and didn't offer any credit. its like they don't work for hertz. super terrible attitude. they wanted me to pay for an upgrade and they "will see" if they can find me a car.
I'm a president circle member and my reservation was cancelled without any notice.
Booked on expedia, they didn't have any cars when we arrived. We took a 25 dollar Uber to arrive there and they weren't even apologetic. Basically told us to call before coming in the future. I think I will just pass and book with a competent company.
Rude. Also read other reviews about cleaning fee. Cleaning fee even though the car is in the same exact condition
