Highly recommend this location for all car rental needs in LA county. I booked online so everything was seamless in rental pickup and drop off. The staff was absolutely phenomenal and the car was clean and easy to navigate with around SoCal.
Great location for car rental before going on cruise from Los Angeles World Cruise port. Previously I gave a 5 star review but this experience on 9/22/2025 was beyond terrible. First, there are no clear directions as to where to return the car. The office had a sign saying they would be back in 15-30 minutes and unclear directions to find the return location. The return process here is extremely poor. There is no information on where to return the car. This should be shared in an email the night before returning. You have to park on a road that hardly has any parking and go in and ask where to return the car, which is a different spot from where I returned it to in January. They didnt give me any printed directions on where to go. There are never any cars available on the days the cruise ships return. Pretty poorly run location.
Reserving and picking up the car was easy, but the car is filthy. The back seat is covered in dog hair, which we didn’t realize until we took the car home to install the car seat for our baby. The passenger seat is covered in crumbs. We tried calling the vehicle rental place but nobody answered the phone. Now our baby has to sit in the back seat surrounded by dog hair.
The absolute worst most disorganized car rental pick up ever. Employees were helpful with what they're given by Hertz. This location accepts all reservations and you basically wait around until someone brings a car back. They can't price adjust but will offer you a downgrade instead of what your reservation is for. They're also too busy with angry customers to even clean the cars. The one we got was covered in sand in the back seat.
